About the day…
On the 16th May 2019, Andrew Mooney (M.D.) attended the Adana Charity Golf Day, at Stockport Golf Club, in aid of the Beechwood Cancer Care Charity based in Stockport. The guests were blessed with beautiful weather and were treated to a fabulous golfers’ breakfast, followed by some great golf and enjoyable dinner in the Clubhouse. The day proved to be a great success, with the staggering sum of £35,000 being raised for Beechwood Cancer Care Charity.

About Beechwood Cancer Care Centre…
Beechwood Cancer Care Centre is a registered charity based in Stockport. It was established in 1990 as a day care centre to help and support patients, carers and family members who are affected by cancer and other life limiting illness. Beechwood Cancer Care Centre is there to support people with the shock of diagnosis and throughout their journey. They are there to help by offering patient programmes, one-to-one counselling, complementary therapies and support groups and have become one of the largest independent charities in the area.
• Beechwood Cancer Care Centre require £2,500 per day just to keep the Centre running
• They also rely on Volunteers to support their Team and to help them run the Centre
• They also have 5 Charity Shops (who always need Volunteers)
