Stockport Golf Club’s Annual Captain & Lady Captain’s Charity Golf Day which took place on Friday 12th May 2017 offered a great opportunity for some friendly competition and an enjoyable day out, while raising money for some great charitable causes.
Andrew Mooney, a veteran member at Stockport Golf Club, submitted a team, who, along with himself, consisted of James Thompson (Meridian Biotechnologies), Ross Gregory (Stockport Golf Club) and Matthew Crowther (Actikem Ltd).
The day included lunch, a challenging 18-hole competition, followed by a wonderful three course dinner.
Andrew Mooney summed up the day by saying ‘A big thank you to Stockport Golf Club staff, members and invited guests for making this a most enjoyable and successful day. Despite the rain, a great golfing experience was had by all on this beautiful championship course.’
