India Direct’s 9th Annual Charity Golf Day, held at Stockport Golf Club on Monday 9th September 2019, offered a great opportunity for some friendly competition and an enjoyable day out, whilst raising money for a great charitable cause.
Andrew Mooney (M.D.), a veteran member of Stockport Golf Club submitted a team, who, along with himself, consisted of Maureen Jolleys (Blagden Speciality Chemicals), James Thomson (Meridian Biotechnologies) and John Bolt (Stockport Golf Club).

The Day’s Rundown…
The schedule for the day consisted of registration, coffee and a bacon roll brunch, followed by a shotgun start at 1pm. After a challenging 18-hole competition, the day concluded with a wonderful 2-course dinner and a presentation of prizes to the winners. Prizes were also awarded for the nearest to the pin and longest drive and competitors also enjoyed taking part in a fun raffle.

What a Result!
The day raised in excess of £6,500, which will be great news for the children and staff in India. Well done to everyone! What a fantastic result!
