Human Rights Policy

Our Commitment

At Actikem Ltd, we are committed to protecting the human rights of all our colleagues and of everyone who receives direct or indirect product or services from us. As a responsible, ethical organisation, we fully support the principles of the Human Rights Act and all associated legislation.

Our responsibility for human rights encompasses:

  • Our operating site: We will uphold the human rights of all employees, visitors and contractors at all our sites.
  • Our supply chain: It is our aspiration to ensure that working conditions throughout our supply chain meet internationally accepted standards of human rights and working conditions. We will do this by regularly assessing our suppliers against these standards as part of our supplier assessment program.

This policy statement has been developed with reference to the following documents:

  • The Human Rights Act 1998
  • The Modern Slavery Act 2015
  • The Ethical Trading Initiative Base Code

Governance

While human rights are the responsibility of all of us at Actikem, executive oversight and responsibility for the
implementation of this policy rests with our management team led by the Managing Director. The Managing Director
oversees implementation of this policy at the board level. The management team will annually review and evaluate
company programs, policies and practices relating to social and environmental issues and impacts to support the
sustainable growth of the Company.

Implementation

We are committed to conducting ongoing human rights due diligence and to engage with our key stakeholders to
continue to improve our approach. We check that human rights standards are present through our supplier
assessment program.

We will develop and implement training on this policy for Actikem employees. Employees can raise concerns about
potential violations and any concerns are addressed using a robust internal process. We regularly update our policies
and practices based on our findings. At all levels, we support worker engagement where grievances can be expressed.
