Our Directors’ recently attended a dinner, hosted by Warrington Chamber of Commerce, where Fhaheen Khan , senior economist of Make UK, gave a very interesting and informative talk on the recent results of the Make UK state of manufacturing sector survey.
The survey was based on a questionnaire, sent out to UK manufacturers to ask about their opinions on the future of the manufacturing sector as a whole, as well as their levels of confidence in their own business growth and expansion.
Having an explanation of the results of the survey by Fhaheen made understanding the findings much easier, and he illustrated the talk with real examples and his own anecdotal experiences. The Directors came away with some great pointers that will influence future business decisions.
The dinner was also an opportunity for our Directors’ to talk and network with other local Warrington Chamber members, as well as enjoying the culinary excellence offered at the Treasury Building, Palmyra Square, Warrington, where period art deco architecture is prominent.
