CBA is the voice of the UK chemical supply chain. It represents a wide range of businesses – from distributors and traders to manufacturers and blenders as well as logistics and service providers. Majority of CBA members are small or medium-sized enterprises.
Chemicals Northwest is the industry-led, chemical cluster support organisation for the £10 billion North West chemical sector, the largest in the UK. They are funded by their members and owned and supported by the Chemical Industries Association.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to education, capital and business support services. 10,000 Small Businesses is funded by Goldman Sachs and the Goldman Sachs Foundation.
The Manufacturers’ Alliance launched in 2013 and consists of groups of leaders from the UK manufacturing community that meet on a monthly basis to help each other achieve their personal and business ambitions. For some, this is a continuous personal development journey, for others it is managing a high growth business. Whatever the reason for joining an Alliance group, the outcome will benefit members and the growth of manufacturing in the UK.

Responsible Care is the chemical industry’s commitment to continual improvement in health, safety and environmental performance. It is a global initiative. In the UK, Responsible Care covers the whole of the chemical supply chain – from manufacturers, through to distributors and logistics companies. Compliance with Responsible Care is mandatory for all CBA member companies involved in the trading, distribution, handling, movement and storage of chemicals.
